How To Block Xbox Live Advertisements

A set of Xbox Live users have discovered a way of blocking the adverts that appear on the Xbox 360 dashboard after its recent update. The major complaint regarding the new look dashboard is the slightly obtrusive adverts that appear while navigating. Users over on Reddit have gone straight to the source and blocked the service that Microsoft use to send the adverts to consoles. If you wish to use this method you can by following these instructions: Sign up for a free OpenDNS account. Add a network for your current IP address. Go to Advanced Settings and next to ‘Domain Typos’, check the box ‘Enable typo correction’ if it’s not already checked and apply. We (Stan - site creator; Sean - a friend) are taking a shot at film! We acquired a bunch of cameras, equipment, programs, and helpers to make any random film idea we have come to life. For our first film. we decided to start easy and do a short, mind crazy, documentary about Sean's parents house.  A large company has decided that they want to build a road right through their property which would split their pasture in half and knock down their garage. After a long legal battle they eventually came to a settlement because there was no way to keep the company from building the road. The documentary was filmed using an iPhone 4s to test out it's 1080p recording quality. Mars Rover May Contaminate The Red Planet With Earth Life

Mankind has been speculating about life on Mars for over a century, from the days where we envisioned canals stretching across the red sands, to our modern search for microscopic life hiding in pockets of ice. While we’ve never found any little green men, life might finally have appeared on the surface of the red planet. Only, er, we might have accidentally shipped it there. Space.com reports that NASA’s Curiosity rover, which launched on November 26th and is currently headed for Mars, may have been contaminated. The problem stems from a set of drill bits which were not sent through the final step of the program’s ultra-cleanliness procedures. Complete List of the Upcoming Battlefield 3 Update

The next patch for the PC version of Battlefield 3 is coming on December 6th—here’s the full rundown of everything that’ll be part of the patch. The patch will consist of two things: A client update that’s approximately 2GB in size, and a server update. Here’s a few important notes that DICE posted about the update: The client/server combination will be incompatible with older clients/servers. All players will be prompted to download the update once it has been released. All RSP companies will begin upgrading their servers at the same time. The client update is large because it contains most of the content for Back to Karkand. Full Skrim Development Tools Releasing Next Month

Bethesda has announced that it will be releasing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim full development tools to the public, in January 2012. “Beginning in January, PC players will be able to download for free the same development tools we used at Bethesda Game Studios to create Skyrim,” the publisher said. Also a new wiki will be created housing a number of tutorials and videos explaining how to use the tools to help beginners: ”In tandem with the Creation Kit’s release, we will roll out a new Wiki and videos to help you get started.” The tools will be titled the Creation Kit and will be fully compatible with the Steam Workshop so users can publish their work for players to download completely free of charge.
